Metaphysical Poem by Dickens Joseph Sawo

Metaphysical

If you and i could always be,
With arms outstretched
Linking our hands in perfect grasp
Fingers interlocking, you smoother with my bigger,
We`d have a perfect fulcrum to balance
You with me,
I`d match my love with yours in perfect equilibrium,
So if i find you with a heavy heart
Whilst mine was lighter yet,
I`d shift our moments of understanding,
To bring you up again
Moving away at first as if cruel to be kind,
Until together we can pivot
In complementary sway
And always it will be in perfect harmony,
Match for match,
Love for love,
We`d equalise our differences,
To make even our odd.
