Metranomial Pulse Poem by Robert William Schmitz

Metranomial Pulse

This over analytical critical ink
Flows to the rhythm of a heart beat
Beats, beats, beats through this pen to you
You may not see it but you know it’s true
These conflicting cliché children
Raised in a conditioning society
Where is the line, we cross borders
Put down the pipe pick up the pen
Crack open your minds rethink it again
Bump the words let it take hold of your mind
Take yourself to a new high free lifefall
Take up this challenge, put down the bic
One, two, flick
Inhale deep this life is more than you see
Ride these strings to your own symphony
A crescendo crusade for a new tomorrow
Pick up your blade, cut down the sorrow
So rock, rock, rock to you own pulse
Just swing, slide, move to the harmony
Perception is reality but don’t be deceived
Corruption is a bad tone exists off key
Notes derailed off a staff only to impede
But this is your chance don’t give in
Tune it out, turn up your gain, dropp fables
Tears dropp from your eyes like rain from the sky
Just push through, as the fog lifts so do your troubles
Finally you’ll move free
Soul dedicated, reverberating through your feet
Electricity coursing dance with me and bounce
This is the music of the brave, the true, and the free.
