Mid-Night Hour, I Feel The Power Poem by Julius Victorio

Mid-Night Hour, I Feel The Power

I win and I lose
I behold my selection and I choose
thinking over my decision on a spiritual bottle of booze
I'm already sober... but I don't know what to do...
so I drink more and more, until the bottle is empty
and when that's done, I go to the cupboard to find plenty
deeply tortured and troubled I am... mentally
but how I wish that I did and I didn't come across these moments incidentally
she came across... I thought it was God bestowed...
maybe it was, maybe it wasn't... God only knows...
but coming back to my choice, both are loving and kind
both unique in a way, no one else like them I can find
little tricks is what our enemy plays in the mind
however even if little, it still lights an illusion of a fake shine

what should bind us and guide us
is obvious what He's supposed to find in us
I realise the hard-way, the fate of sin
we need some morale in the times we are now living in

it's now

Very interesting introspection. Many questions that trouble one seeking Him, make him / her sleepless........
