Midnight Hour Poem by Kev Elmer

Midnight Hour

In the midnight hour, emotions turn sour.
Memories are lost, at a great cost.
A new day broken, no words spoken.
Another day elapsed, new shadows cast.
New troubles arise, to the unlit skies.
Burdens mount up, there's always a but.
Towering high, yet another lie.
seeking power, in the midnight hour.
