Midnight In Soho Poem by Ave Lilik

Midnight In Soho

And the truck is cleaning
picking up stories,
pieces of history,
bits of memory.

Boys on roller,
Smokers on the corner,
Gals with halters
Soaked in their laughters.

The bus stop is emptied,
Leaving me,
perplexedly happy,
rehearsing poetry.
