Midnight's Light Poem by Derek Bissonette

Midnight's Light

In deep depression, I sit alone
Grieving for all the pain I own
No one here beside my throne
All my friends have turned to bone
As I sit, in the lonely night
I think of things that have come to pass
I've seen ahead, the future's not bright
So grieve my children, til morning light
