Midnight Stroll Poem by Frank Acquafredda

Midnight Stroll

A lonely midnight stroll,
To calm this raging soul,
My forever racing mind,
Leaving all love left behind.

With each new passing day,
This path seems the only way.
From this evil now I'm blind,
Leaving all love left behind.

A lifetime now he stalks me,
Follows every move I make,
Always lurking in the shadows,
So my future he can take.

Reached out to my lord savior,
But my prayers he does not hear,
Doubting there is hope for me,
My thoughts fall on deaf ears.

This midnight stroll is my last walk,
With God again I shall not talk,
Guess this world's not meant for me,
To hell I'll stroll for eternity.
