Midnight Symphony Poem by Samantha Belsey

Midnight Symphony

Rating: 4.0

Red tulips, cherry blossoms
beckon the honeybees
Softly seducing
Sweet nectar.

Rose petals, lily white
caress the wind
Whispering words
A silent symphony

Midnight stars seek answers
To simple questions
The moon murmurs
reflecting in still waters.

Hot breath moves
through silky night
sticking like ink
on creamy parchment.

Lips, tulip full
cherry blossoms open
the bees drink
and are content.
