Midnight Thunder Poem by G J Salgado

Midnight Thunder

Will the storm find its way to her in the Eve of Midnight,
Will the darkness cast shadows of her when the lightning strikes.

She starves for the sound of the thunder as it breaks,
She returns to her former soul as her spirit wakes.

Everlasting lightning in its kiss,
As it touches her forbidden lips.

A kiss of thunder is in the wind tonight,
Upon who she has become within the thunder at midnight.
