Midnight Traveller Poem by Bartholomew Arkoh Boamah Sarbah

Midnight Traveller

From the darkness you came
while the sleep dead in their chambers
You were like an apparition
reincarnated from the dead
as you walked the distance nearer;
this alliance you have with the night,
only you can tell

I praise your stubborn bravely
yet I pray for you
that one day
when you have encountered the night citizens;
when the scandals come your path;
when the creatures of the night seek after your flesh
you shall always escape their view
and repent from your begotten attitude.
