Mighty Woman Poem by Macwolls Kay

Mighty Woman

For nine month, she is molded with care
Dreadful pangs surround her exit
She reaches out and takes a breath
Full of innocence, a sight to bear.

Her early years uneventful
In hibernation, like a bear
Like a wine gracefully aging
Patiently waiting to claim her throne.

Soon she will blossom
Refined and defined
She will rule far and wide
Men will worship, men will praise.

Oh, this woman, Mighty woman
Mother of mankind, Mother of creation
She is my weakness, she is my strength.
