The only boy in our class,
To be t.v less-
Was the biggest,
Rogue of all!
Now hes in Penton,
Trussed to chain and ball!
So think twice,
Is to unplug so wise? |

I like this poem but it left out the last 5 lines. here they are:
'P.S. Regarding Mike Teavee,
We very much regret that we
shall simply have to wait and see
if we can get him back his height.
But if we can't, it serves him right.'

television it soon becomes
so boring the children
try out what are portrayed
on screen for the real kicks
- soccer, beauty pageants,
and of course the unexpected,
rattling bullets all over the place
in banks, anywhere they could have some fun |
