Mila The Beluga Whale Rescues A Diver. Poem by Stephen Katona

Mila The Beluga Whale Rescues A Diver.

Rating: 3.0

A lady called Yang Yun,
Tried not to be out done,
In a twenty foot pool,
With its own arctic cool,
Diving without air,
When she had a scare...

How very silly,
To swim in water that chilly,
Really!

Yang's legs went into cramp,
Then along came our champ,
A white whale called Mila,
A beautiful Beluga,
To help Yang climb,
In the nick of time,
With a leg in her jaws,
For a round of applause.

When Yang needed a hand,
At China's Polarland,
She found a friend,
To help her ascend.
Now they'll always be kin,
In the city of Harbin.
