Milan Poem by K.B Thunderel

Milan

Milan is a red rose, springing up in june
a melody sweetly played to tune
sweet coffee, sipped from a tea spoon
NO...
A fantasy, a trip to the moon
I think she is flirty, unlike june
like a gypsy, she whines to a tune
with eyes of a disney, character of a 'toon
NO...
She is perfect, i'll make her mine soon
catchy she is, and am stuck on her like glue
the much i love her, she has no clue
but she is sweet to me, and sends non-verbal cue
YES...
To up my game and her heart pursue
to your advice friend, i cease to listen hitherto
and if you persist, the friendship will discontinue
i know she likes me, lets not argue
YES...
She does, and am taking my chances, loving her true

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM

Love this great poem! Funny how we can argue with ourselves, wasting time instead of just going for it! Nicely done!
