A thousand leagues
countless seas
separates you from me
I have no idea

what you look like
but I know your heart.
I know who you are
misunderstood, lonely

like me,
kilometers, miles
a hundred sunsets
far apart.

Yet you inhabit
my entire heart.
Let the world wither away
We will get by
till we meet one fine day.
