Mingle-Mangle, Jingle-Jangle! A Lone Squirrel Hides In The Dingle!

Rating: 4.7

I’m surrounded by many, yet isolated and alone,
I tried to reach out to the people with just and fair ……..
But succeeded in taking hold of empty dust in the air;
I’m a broken heart in utter despair of being alone!
Mingle-mangle, jingle-jangle! A lone squirrel hides in the dingle!

I am fed of living everyday – a sick rose,
It's library routine for my dreams turning into gray – a grey rose;
I am fed of dying every way – a faded rose,
Dawn to dusk, I'm being tortured by loneliness' husk – a blue rose!
Mingle-mangle, jingle-jangle! A lone squirrel hides in the dingle!

Loneliness pulled wool over my eyes, I – a woolgatherer!
Loneliness pulled rug over my creativity, I and it stay together;
Day after day always putting on a happy face - outside,
While I'm butchered by aching numbness - inside.
Mingle-mangle, jingle-jangle! A lone squirrel hides in the dingle!

A mask of plastic happiness often covers my tear and fear,
In my husk a silent flame burns perennially with a hiccup;
I act with all, day by day in the sale, playing roles without any make-up,
Yikes! One day there will be no more mask for me to wear.
Mingle-mangle, jingle-jangle! A lone squirrel hides in the dingle!

My life is moving slowly like a tortoise as loneliness appears,
I'm lonely as I watch the world passing and crossing through my way,
One midnight, loneliness dressed in blue lurked in my doorway,
ONE DAY this mask will be NO MORE, if only loneliness disappears!
Mingle-mangle, jingle-jangle! A lone squirrel hides in the dingle!

Dear Durgesh, You pulled at the string of my heart with your glorious compliment - comparing me with Shakespeare. If you give me such a compliment I can even stay with out food for a week. A compliment a day makes a person cheerful for whole week. Truly I enjoyed this compliment of yours with wholesome heart. Ha! ha! ha! ...................
