Minimum Cut

I posed to my stylist,
'I'll tell you what I want
then I'll shut my eyes
and tell you nothing more.
I want a minimum cut.'

Assuming he would take the job,
would he take hardly any off
or leave hardly any on
and what sort of a show
would he do for another,
and one he didn't know?

When I open my eyes
will I get a surprise?
