Minutes To Heaven Poem by Francis Carrasco

Minutes To Heaven

The day of my death, wherever it resides, fear I not,
For the kingdom of Heaven patiently awaits,
And my life, my soul, shall no longer be Distraught,
Or so I have always been consoled, taught,
But I believe this; I will give all my remaining faith,
In the Merciful God, King of all Gods, the fickle fire,
That has yet to burn out, and ascend to celestial bliss,
Where angels beat their majestic white wings, a melodious ring,
Entrancing, blinding rays of light, come forth from the gardens,
Of pleasure, Bask in all its Divine glory, Paradise
And as I write this,
There are only eleven………seven.... seconds till I rise into heaven,
Forgiven soul of my sins, As a child of God
