Miracle Poem by Alexander Thomas

Miracle

Amidst the musings of time we were fashioned,
By a cry from the dark impassioned,
In the shadow of divine glory,
Came our unique and spectacular story.

A miracle like turning air to gold,
Truly you are a great beauty to behold,
Being such a specific form,
That no other could make my heart so torn,
A million exquisite pieces assembled in space,
In such a unique time and place,
Were we placed together?
For our souls to tether?
Because here we stand,
On this holy land,
To see, to hear, to touch,
Onto beauty to clutch,
To distil word into love,
And set it free as a dove,
To give meaning to creation and bare witness to life's gift,
Between Heaven and Earth closing the rift,
Placed here to give hope to the universe,
And for eternal peace in the afterlife rehearse,
Between thine atoms light,
Pure and white,
A cosmic fusion,
Fear is a delusion,
Birds of a feather,
Should flock together.

Unravelling math leading down an enlightening path,
From star dust to magma then crust,
By gentle hand to land,
From ocean to stirring emotion,
To soar into skies of awe,
All traced by sacred nature's law,
Open your eyes and see,
The wonder of what it is to be.
