Mirror Poem by Asit Kumar Sanyal

Mirror

Rating: 5.0

In the ICS interview
A British interviewer
Said to an aspirant
I am just looking a monkey
in front of me.
Immediately he replied,
'Yes sir, you are right
I am a mirror.'
It is said
he was Netaji Subhas.

Not only he,
You and I too a mirror
Indian philosophers say
Things come and go
Don't carry the past
Be like a mirror
always remain in present
Each moment you will take birth
A new.

Please accept my sincere thanks for such an amazing poem on the subject of 'mirror'. The anecdote said to be linked with Neta Ji is an icing on the cake.
