Mirrored Images Poem by Natasha Dowdy

He says he wants to fix me
But I'm not broken.
He says he wants to put all my pieces back together.
But I'm not a puzzle.
He says he wants to make it better, make everything good.
He sees me as a broken puzzle that life has trashed.
I think he only sees the lost parts of himself.
