Misery's Company Poem by Harrison Williams

Misery's Company

Rating: 5.0

This woman knocks on my door
She goes, 'Can you keep me company
Because I am extremely bored'
I nod then she tells me her name is Misery
This all happened a few months ago
She hasn't left me alone since that day
I ask if she'll leave and she says no
I would give anything for her to go away
She makes it hard to live my life
And become the man I want to be
Successful with a loving wife
Misery won't stop nagging at me
I'm telling you this while I hide
And because I finally swallowed my pride

A great poem Harrison I like the way the poem was crafted around the idea of the saying misery loves company
