Rookie (jan 1980 / youngstown, oh)

miss messiah

so invincible, mostly invisible

locked up tight, losing an uphill fight

to a battle im tired of fighting

clinching my fist, praying i don't hit

the stinging still remains, it will never go away

the burning hole in my chest, from all this regret

one day, just one day..i want you to see

i want you to feel, the scrutany,

listen up miss messiah

shhh don't say a word

you think your the queen

well im the king and i have spoke

i have soke in tears

to many tears, its your turn to feed on the rot

the rot of the evil ways,

you fed me to him

so shut up

its now my turn to chime

in and out

its my noose and nail

so hang yourself you witch

your done in this world

its upside down now.

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
