Miss You Poem by Carabella ...

Miss You

Rating: 4.5

I miss that place on the side of your neck,
So smooth, soft, without lines, like a child,
Accepting my kisses there with tickling beard,
Tucked into my ear and whispering there.

I miss your eyes that drank me in
With more love than I'd ever felt
Brown, limpid and liquid, beautiful
With a depth only I knew.

I miss your laughter as you skipped up the stairs,
A man-child, letting me know by your twitter,
You were happy, without saying a word,
A nonsense song you saved just for me.

I miss your essence, your warmth, your smile,
Your sighs in the mornings, coffee by my side,
Movies at night you'd fall asleep by,
The feel of you as I fell asleep.

I miss you, come home, come home now,
Joke's over, song's sung, time's up, I'm undone,
Death isn't forever, our time can't be up.
Come home, I'm waiting. Still.
