"Are you hearing me mom"?
I am upset and sad to think from
On this very day, you were gone
Leaving us behind to feel alone
All troubled days were over
But we had no shelter
You were like metal wall
Never allowed us to fall
I keep sobbing
With tears dropping
I feel lonely an loser
God should never take back mother
As I sit back and recall
You appear with slight memory call
I find you in same spirit
Always smiling with open hands to greet
What a shame! on my part
I never let you to feel comfort
I was naughty and uncaring
You were running after me and daring
I feel so grieved
When closely observe
You were really deity in practical sense
I love to see you even today by sitting at fence

Very tender and touching poem, Hasmukh. Your sadness permeates with the scent of sorrow through this beautiful memory of your Mom. I am sure she was very proud of you throughout her life. My heart goes out to you, I know this intense grief also, as my Mom died and took my spirit with her. Many poems have I written since her death, trying to make sense of it, but there is no sense to be had. Thank you very much for sharing this poem. RoseAnn
