Missing You Poem by Absent Wryta

Missing You

I miss you so its like my heart has been extracted, my soul subtracted
I'm lost without you, but mostly I'm lonely without you
Its a strange and quiet place now, my place
What's worse is that I know you miss me too
So I know you're going through what I'm going through too
How do you prepare yourself for this space
The space they leave when you walkaway
The space that's hollow like a vacuum, vacant like an empty room, quiet like a tomb
I miss you like the sky misses the sun on a bright morning day
I miss you so this sea of emptiness stretches as though to drown me
And down to the bottom of this ocean of despair, I drown like a swimmer with no skill

love riffles when shadowed heart respires slow by the rhythm, .yet most passionate and poignant by the alienation, yet ingenious by imagery, well penned,10+++
