Missing You Poem by Susan Oxford

Missing You

Rating: 5.0

I lie here alone, feeling blue,
my arms, my heart they ache for you.
I miss your closeness so very much,
your smile, your kiss, your loving touch.

An empty space that is next to me
where my love, my darling is meant to be.
My body flush with a burning heat,
wanting the man that makes me complete.

The lonely nights that I spend here,
needing your arms to draw me near.
To feel your body join with mine,
in the gentle rhythm of love divine.

I close my eyes, I see your face,
I dream with pleasure of your embrace.
Knowing that soon we won't be apart,
you are my life, my love, my heart.
