Mistaken Poem by Tiffany Rose Moczydlowski

Mistaken

Remember that night
You held me tight in your arms?
And promised to never let go?
The one when I felt
Like only we mattered
And nothing else?
Remember how you told me
''I'm not like the rest''
You were right
You were worse
'Cause you were the best...
All those promises
Whispered in my ear
Were they all staged?
To make me think
Than you would stay right here?
It hurts, but yet
I still love you too much
To ever forget
Even if all I am to you
Is one huge regret
