Mistakes Were Made Poem by Heather Capelli

Mistakes Were Made

Rating: 2.8

'John, ' I said, 'John...'
Everything that you want,
can be yours
if you only trust this moment.
We are standing on the edge
of the world.

Come with me. Take hold of
my hand. Let's jump and
see if we can fly.

I'm sure it would have been great.
I'm sure it would have been perfect
If his name had been John.
