Mistrust Poem by Emmerald Little

Mistrust

I thought I could trust you
But it turned out that I can’t.
I told you all of my secrets
Because I thought you would not tell anyone
But you betrayed me.
I thought I could trust you
But it turned out that I can’t.
I thought that you were different than all the others
But you weren’t.
I thought I could trust you
But it turned out that I can’t
Now I know that you can not be trusted with
Any kind of secret, now all I know is that I just mistrusted you
