Mistrust Poem by Jake Samuelson

Mistrust

Rating: 5.0

Stuck in my room staring at these blank walls before me
I want to scream and shout, but the tortured words wont come out
'I dont trust you' Echoes in the back of my mind
What did i do to deserve this, i'm locked in
I cant escape to get any air, I'm suffocating
Slowly but surely i will die, i need a lifeline
I've had enough, yet i cant speak up
Gagged and bound, my life is decided before me
its although im just along for the ride
Eventually the time will come, i can decide for myself
I wont be forced to obey, i will be free, eventually
I know.. Some day.. It will be true.. I will find a paradise
Unspoiled.. Untouched.. Untainted.. I will live
But for now, im still gagged and bound, still forced to obey
Still beaten till i give in, but i will never surrender
I will never give in, i will never let go of myself
I will never live this down, it will always be there
A scar, a poison flowing through my veins.
