Moderation Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Moderation

Moderation is a tip that lets you know
It is the time to refrain and digest slow
If you persist and ignore the caution sign
Excessive speed and greed will draw the line

Suddenly you may feel woozy and make a dash
Too much indulgence is regurgitated in a flash
All the scrumptious cuisine and drink emerge
Transformed into awful bitter bile laden purge

Cleansed of a ravenous medley that overfilled
Chastised with a vengeance that could kill
With a sigh, food aromas no longer entice
Remember this feeling as noteworthy advice
