Mol Mohabbat Ka

Ai khuda agle janam mein tu mujhe bas akela bana,
Koi na saath ho bas ek mere pyaar ke siwa,
Rishtey badalte hai is zamane mein daulat ka rang dekh kar,
Ek pyaar hi hai mera jo sada mere saath nibhati hai.

Daulat ko dekhkar kyon rang badalti hai yeh duniya,
Kya daulat kisi ke saath kabre mein bhi jaati hai,
Saath jaati hai to woh hai bas dua zamane ke logon ki,
Jo is duniya se us duniya tak saath nibhati hai.

Daulat ke bhookon se mera rishta kabhi na karna ai mere khuda,
Karna hi ho to mera rishta kuch aise logon se kara,
Jo hai bhooke aur pyaase sirf mohabbat ke,
Jinke jeevan mein mohabbat ke siva kisi ka koi mol nahin.

Poem of the Day

I

Our life is twofold; Sleep hath its own world,
A boundary between the things misnamed
Death and existence: Sleep hath its own world,
And a wide realm of wild reality,
