Momma Prays Poem by Falecia Y. Brown

Momma Prays

Rating: 5.0

Kaous and noise fills the house
But one room was quiet as a mouse
We never go in there
Not a moment too soon
Momma was in there praying
Don't you stand there and wonder
How long she's staying
Not while momma's praying
I see the door opening you betta move
She don't see when she walk out that room
Its like she's in a daze
But thank God momma prays
