Mon Cheri Poem by John Leroy Maxwell

Mon Cheri

Oh, my love, it has been so long, and I'm so
lonesome, since you've been gone
No other love, nor ever will, 'til end of time
I'll love you still
Forever love you, not one the rest, throughout
eternity you be my quest
To ever love, shall always be, and from your
beauty, ne'er be free
I'll cherish you, in every way, all through this life,
each and every day
Eternity, if God so choose, I pray to Him,
I ne'er shall lose
Mon Cheri I love you so, and always with me
you shall go
I hope shall not be very long, I'll try at best
to be e'er strong
To hold, protect in every way, throughout
this life, and eternity way

'I ne'er shall lose Mon Cheri I love you so, and always with me you shall go I hope shall not be very long, I'll try at best to be e'er strong To hold, protect in every way, throughout this life, and eternity way' Interesting lines John, liked the poem... Yes, love sometimes goes beyond life and death... Thank you.. __________________ P: S: 'Mon Cheri' = 'My Cheri'? ? Is the title in French? ?
