Mon Poesy Poem by Annapurna Sharma

Mon Poesy

From a lucid window
Of a fugitive train
A fleeting glimpse
Of the timeless ochre firmament
Transcending into nocturnal skies
Flickered like the firefly
Evoked a germ of fragmented words
Serendipitously fogged the inner me
A mosaic of whirlwind like a desert storm
Bubbled like the confined hot lava
Slithered like the venomous green serpent
Wandered in the dark abyss
Hissed in the void of the intricate mind!
On an auspicious moment -
The splinters fused with the enlightened soul
Gushed out like the warm springs
That nurtured latent words
Winnowed like the light summer breeze
Flowered like the gregarious first showers
Harnessed delicate tendrils of vines
A spinneret of naïve images
Outpoured into free verse
