Monarch Butterfly And Pillow Lava Poem by R. Ariffin

Monarch Butterfly And Pillow Lava

Rating: 5.0

A handful of breeze; a stroke of color
A bit of twilight beneath the shades
Memories and nightmares tied to each other
A girl, a boy; whispering at the gates

A monarch butterfly, a pillow lava
Two of the strangest of the above
A man; a lady and an impractical scheme
Believing madly in such thing called love

A piercing thunder; a tongue-tied rain
A vanishing rainbow on the eastern sky
A loveless lover beside the river
Mourning quietly a silent cry
