Monday Morning Poem by Wojja Fink

Monday Morning

Rating: 5.0

A whole universe unfolds in the bustle of Monday morning
Everything is there
Perfect in harmony
Customers and staff mingle in the warmness
Of a packed café
Sliced tomatoes slither into different shapes
On the plate
Row upon row of fresh rolls
The coffee machine whistles and psssssssss’s
In tune with the chorus of voices
Sharing the weekend’s tales
Papers, menus, tables even
Even watching … just watching
Is in it’s self, a full breakfast.
And the rich dark molecular coffee carried in the air
Finds welcoming nostrils
Toast bacon beans
Scoffed or chewed slowly by the toddlers
Between the squeals of laughter
Truly amazing;
Just waiting for a cuppa and a cheese roll
In a Camden café.

Perplexed by the crude drawings
Of a flat pack
I wonder how the universe
So perfect in operation
Can make a flat pack
So bloody confusing?

Caught me off guard, I was just thinking people have a hard times dealing with Mondays because you just get yourself settled in another area of you life then Bam. Only my Bam wasn't as big as yours. Loved it.10+++

When you are full of joy the universe seems harmonious............when you are in abyss of sorrow everthing in same universe grates.............it depends upon our attitude........Good Write.........10+++

Loving the energy of commotion and the perfect universe in operation..., cultures are somewhat alike and somewhat different....one question...what is a flat pack? thanks....Barry
