Money Talk Poem by Kelsey Gallant

Money Talk

“Hey, did you hear about what George did the other day?
He bought a cheesy toy that was China-made
Did you hear about what Abe did last night?
He bought discount Sharpies that don’t even write!
Hey, did you hear what Andrew’s gonna do?
He’s gonna get a pair of secondhand shoes.
But I, Benjamin Franklin, am worth the most of all
I’m gonna buy an iPod, a bat and a ball”
