Monkey Poem by Abdul Wahab

Monkey

Rating: 5.0

Within a wink of an eye
From branch to branch
My monkey jumps
With all his mocking face
He is not less naughty without a tail.

With rules and etiquettes
I wanted to tame him
But he shows his audacity telling
Those are all for the moderates.

Though domestic monkeys are meant
To earn money
By showing their art at public
But here I dance and my monkey enjoys the show
As I could not make me his mater
Instead, he makes me his pet.
