Monochromatic Life Poem by Sydney Daniels

Monochromatic Life

Black and white
White and black
The future is not defined
By looking back.

To be or not to be
That is not the question
But merely an expression
Of a chronic indecision.

Live and yet live
Tolerance in sweet relief
Or maybe just refusal
To stand up for your beliefs.

This is not a monochromatic life;
All is not what it seems.
It is not in the black and white
But in the gray we find the color of our dreams.

powerful, yet not oversated. I have pondered similar thoughts. Truth and reality are all I the eye of the beholder. Just remember you can not have grey with out black and white, and no matter how you mix them you will never find red.
