Monologue Poem by Mihaela Pirjol

Monologue

Rating: 5.0

Love's ashes blown
By the wind of time;
Consumed in flames,
Now, —chastity her senses.
She lies in apathy,
Cold-shivered, and so empty…
In tears and sighs,
Her yearning heart
Profoundly aching:
‘To burst again in tongues of fire—
Do not dare! ' I whisper:
Obsessed with broken memories—
In pieces like her heart…
‘Forget them there,
Scattered in an induced amnesia,
Buried in impermanence
Like your beloved's heart:
It's time for another spring
To bloom its flowers in your heart! '
She casts my thoughts away,
But I guide them in the present,
And in a smile I catch myself again—
This little game I play!
A glimpse into the moment and around,
Brings back myself to now.

Ωραίο κι αυτό, πολλές οι εικονοποιήσεις των αισθημάτων.Οι δυο τελευταίοι στίχοι πάλι ό, τι χρειάζεται για να το κλείσουν ως επίλογος με την αίσθηση της πληρότητας από την ανάγνωση.
