Monsters. Poem by Graham Jones

Monsters.

Rating: 3.5

Monsters, monsters everywhere
Becareful, lest yours should come
Deformed and ugly, best beware
They'll leave you cold and numb

We all have secrets, some good some bad
Kept safe, held deep inside
Some keep you happy, others sad
And those that hurt we hide

Some are best left well alone
So others will not see
There are those that haunt us in the home
And will never let us be

To cleanse the heart and purge the soul
Thats all we ever ask
We cannot hold, what is'nt whole
Or forever wear a mask.
