Moon



You slipped a note
Inside my locker
While they chuckled

'Meet me
When the moon
Shines on
The water'
Scrawled on a torn
Scrap of paper

Half past one
I look through the glass
The moon reflects
Off the ominous sea

Time to go
No time
To lose

Here I am
With shimmering
Ocean water

Alone waiting
For the moon
Once more
