Moondate - Poem by Saiom Shriver

They were
geographically separated
for a short time,
these 2 human loons,
and so
made a vow to each
other that at the same
time each night they
would gaze at the moon.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

(to Adele and John Looney, teachers
of the path of peace)

Footnote: and on the night
of no moon they would look
in her direction... the same
as that in which the sun had
set.
