Oh moon! Shine less brightly
Before you I lay bare and sullied
Like a rose when plucked for else's dream
As you peek through the clouds into me
My clouded heart misses a beat
And I see fading remnants of purity...

Millions gaze at you, if he
Ask him to come
Save the woman in me
I'll sway again in your light
I will for a moment breathe for me
If he misses to see the beauty, then
Oh moon Shine less brightly...!
