Moonlight Poem by tallulah montegue

Moonlight

Moonlight, black velvet
Marked by the quarter moon
Smooth, shiny, beautiful to the touch
Round full and glowing

Struck down by nature's hand
Soulful eyes and weakened stance
Full of misery and discomfort
The castle of the soul invaded - helpless

Herman - healer of feline goddesses
The Moonlights of the world
Restored the goodness of life - health

Moonlight, black velvet
Marked by the quarter moon
Is well again and in full bloom
