Moonlit Walk Poem by Inday Prising

Moonlit Walk

Rating: 5.0

Through thousands of people around us
And the pensive chill of the night air's debris
I see the silent shadows of you and me
Walking awkwardly through a chained melody

Our shadows have been walking for many miles
In our stop we seem to have not yet arrive
So many questioned feelings I can't derive
My senses fail me, unsecretly connive

Amidst our frantic gestures and nervous smiles
Was the cold breeze brought by the eerie charmed night
And the bright shining of the tranquil moonlight

Everything felt so quite, everything so right
When we finally said 'goodbye and goodnight'
As the moon above us was shining so bright
