More Of You Poem by kelvin obi

More Of You

Rating: 5.0

More of you
I have nothing to offer; still I need more of you
I may not be as rich as you desire, but I will protect you
I may be weak but I will try the best way I can to satisfy you
Always I will stand by you when life is hard and pain fall like rain drop
I will fight standing with you.
Cover you with my body when you feel cold
Buy you all you wish that is been sold
No matter the value: sliver, diamond or gold
I will speak for you, for your love make me bold
All I want in return, is you love with pure heart
Shinning and truthful as the morning sun
I desire the touch of your palm on my skin,
Teasing me with much sensation that I never imagine
All I want is a little more of you.
A little kiss that will drive me wild
A little hug that will never last
A little romance that end in a nasty blast
Where you and I will always be driven in the memory
I want to dream of you always as I lay helplessly
After the thought of you
Leaving us with emotional and sassy story
That will dwell in us till will grow ages upon the face of the earth

An insightful depiction of love as a spiritual experience that affects one profoundly. A lovely poem well articulated and nicely penned from inner recesses of the heart with conviction. Thanks for sharing Kelvin. Please read my poem CHILDREN OF CRUEL FATE.
