Morn summer dew

Morn summer dew descends with light, her soul's perseverance on blooms
our eyes behold from ancient times and weave her advent on fates' looms.

Aberdevines will fly in woods encouraging the leaves to shine
and skies will open to reflect, the nature's wisdom and design.

The ocean waves will nicely sweep, the sandy distances and sway
so through that process they'll remind, that love is a caressing play.

The longing sadness and dim light of night's quick passing from the field
betimes become a loving state of stares and smiles the hopes to wield.

Morn summer dew descends with light, her soul's perseverance on blooms
our eyes behold from ancient times and weave her advent on fates' looms.

Poem of the Day

poet Alfred Edward Housman

The time you won your town the race
We chaired you through the market-place;
Man and boy stood cheering by,
And home we brought you shoulder-high.
